US Election Horaries, 2016 - Charts 3 & 4 - The Green Party

Here are two charts asking about the Green Party in the US elections.  The querent intended to vote for Mrs Clinton but was sympathetic to the Green Party generally.

Soon after the Democratic primary process was over the querent asked, “Will the Green Party reach 15% in polling?”  If they did, this would earn their candidate, Jill Stein, a spot on the fall debate stage along with the Republican and Democratic candidates.

The chart data is Aug 1, 2016 at 3:57 pm in Milwaukee, WI; 7 Sagittarius Asc (first chart in the image gallery below).

The querent is not a Green Party member and did not intend to vote for Stein, so the Greens cannot reasonably be considered “us.”  Neither are they “the enemy,” per se.  But they are “those other people,” so the seventh house still seems the correct choice. The Greens therefore are signified by Mercury, ruler of Gemini on the seventh house cusp.

Mercury is at 3 Virgo.  This by itself is not positive testimony, because we are not interested in Mercury's condition now, but in whether its condition will improve going forward.

Mercury is applying to conjunction with the North Node at 13 Virgo, which, if perfected, would be a definite testimony for Yes.  But before Mercury can reach the North Node, it perfects a square with Saturn at 9 Sagittarius.  By reception Saturn takes Mercury into detriment, so this is strong testimony for No.

With nothing else to weigh in, the answer must be No, the Green Party will not reach 15% in the polls.  And they did not.  To my recollection they never polled higher than 5 percent.

The second question was posed by the same querent a few weeks before Election Day.  “Will the Green Party reach 5% of the votes in the election?”  Reaching 5% would earn the Greens federal funding for elections going forward. The chart data is Oct 22 2016 at 11:06 a.m. in Milwaukee, WI; 13 Sagittarius Asc (second chart in the image gallery below).

The Green Party is again signified by Mercury, ruler of Gemini on the seventh house cusp of “the others.”  The first thing we notice is that Mercury is combust.  This is overwhelming testimony for No.  Even if we consider that Mercury's condition improves somewhat with the Sun’s imminent move into Scorpio, this does not change things in any substantial way.  The answer must therefore be No.  And, in fact, the Green Party received just 1% of the vote.

The last chart in this series is another about Mr Trump, asked after he won the election.  I will post it here soon!
