"The Sun’s Joy" is my collection of writings about traditional methods of astrology. It’s mostly short pieces, written in a straightforward style that I hope is easy to read and understand, even for those who know little about astrology in general. Since starting the blog in 2009 I've written over 150 posts on a wide range of subjects. The blog title refers to my Leo Sun in the 9th house, the house of its joy (a type of dignity in astrology).

This is my own question. Trump’s threat to US democracy has been weighing heavily. He came within inches of a coup in 2020 with his multiple attempts to overturn the legitimate results of that
election. Everyone assumes Trump will be the GOP candidate for 2024, but we are still in the primary season. He isn’t the official GOP candidate yet. Nor is Biden the official Democratic
nominee.
My concern about the coronavirus has been ongoing, but for whatever reason this question emerged on the morning of 6 Sept 2021 (8:39 a.m. CDT in West Allis, WI).
