Will Biden beat Trump?

I loathed Trump and feared he would be re-elected. Although this was an ongoing concern during 2020, in August I formally asked the question: “Will Biden beat Trump?” 19 Aug 2020, 5:19 pm CDT in Milwaukee, WI.

Kavanaugh Horary, Take Two

Here’s a second look at a horary chart I posted in 2018 (here), asking whether Brett Kavanaugh would be appointed to the US Supreme Court before Nov 6 (the date of the mid-term elections that year).  I had judged he would not; but in fact, Mr. Kavanaugh was appointed to the Court on Oct 6, 2018.

"Will Kavanaugh be confirmed before Nov 6?"

Brett Kavanaugh is Donald Trump's nominee to fill the vacant spot on the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). As the reader may know, I'm no fan of Mr. Trump.  It's no surprise, then, that I oppose Mr. Kavanaugh's nomination.  There are huge issues at stake for US women, in particular, if he is confirmed to the court.

Last week an old classmate of Mr. Kavanaugh’s came forward with the allegation that he had sexually assaulted her during their high school years. I wondered whether the allegation might delay his confirmation--a turn of events that I would welcome.  So the question was born:  “Will BK be appointed to SCOTUS before Nov 6th?” Sept 19, 2018, 11:43 am in Glendale, WI; 24 Scorpio Asc (chart below).

"Will Roy Moore win?"

Alabama has been in the national spotlight lately.  As the reader may know, there was a special election on Dec 12 to fill the US Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions when he became Attorney General.  Prior to the election I was concerned that right-wing extremist Roy Moore, a Republican, might win despite being a credibly accused pedophile.  Alabama has been a deep-red state for decades and the race was reported to be very close.  Because the stakes were high—and not just for Alabamians—I asked the question: “Will Roy Moore win a seat in the US Senate?” Dec 12, 2017, 8:01 am in Milwaukee, WI; 29.55 Sagittarius rising (chart at bottom).

US Election Horaries, 2016 - Charts 3 & 4 - The Green Party

Here are two charts asking about the Green Party in the US elections.  The querent intended to vote for Mrs Clinton but was sympathetic to the Green Party generally.

Soon after the Democratic primary process was over the querent asked, “Will the Green Party reach 15% in polling?”  If they did, this would earn their candidate, Jill Stein, a spot on the fall debate stage along with the Republican and Democratic candidates.

US Election Horaries, 2016 - Chart 1 - "Who will win?"

Over the next several days I will be sharing a few election horaries with you.  The first one comes from one of my students, an American citizen and Hillary Clinton supporter.  She is the querent.  Her question is, "Who will win the election?"  October 20, 2016, 9:08 p.m. CDT in Montgomery, Alabama (Ascendant 22 Gemini).

This is a great horary to share because it's so clear and straightforward.
