I am a big sports fan, especially of pro football and college basketball (and pro baseball, off and on). My work with sports charts started in 2010 with the Super Bowl that year. I hadn't yet read Sports Astrology and boy, did I have a lot to learn! I have asked a lot of horaries since that time and judged a lot of events charts, too. Despite years of earnest effort, my record with these is not the best. Still, sports charts are great for learning. There is a mix of horaries and event charts on this page, most from 2013 or earlier. Enjoy!
Hello sports fans! Here we are at the NCAA title game for 2013: Louisville vs Michigan. Louisville is favored, so they are assigned Lord 1, Mars, and Lord 10, the Sun. Michigan is assigned Lord 7, Venus, and Lord 4, Saturn. If the game tips at 9:23 p.m. EDT as expected, here's the chart (set for today, April 8 in Atlanta, Georgia).
Welcome, sports astrology fans! This is my fourth annual NFL Super Bowl prediction. I’m 2-1, having got the first prediction wrong because I hadn't yet read The Pink Book!
This is an event chart, as I have no preference for either team, nor did any fan of either team ask me a horary question about the game.
I have just enough time before guests arrive to post this sports horary chart and a brief analysis. In about two hours, the Green Bay Packers will face off against the Minnesota Vikings in a first round NFL play-off game. The Pack is my team, and I am the querent. “Will the Packers beat the Vikings tonight?”
Jan 5, 2013, 12:03 p.m. CST Wauwatosa, WI, USA; 2 Taurus Asc (see chart below).
It's New Year's Day, aka College Bowl Day for American football fans here. Wisconsin is in the Rose Bowl for the third year in a row, and they're 0-2. Will this year bring us a win?
I haven't made any sports predictions since NCAA basketball last April, so I'm a bit rusty. I had to dust off my copy of the Pink Book, aka Sports Astrology by John Frawley, to review the difference between event charts and contest horaries. Wisconsin's my team and I'm the querent, so this is a contest horary. Review is complete, so let's begin!
We're down to our last college basketball game of the season: the NCAA Men's Final. Kentucky is a 7-point favorite over Kansas according to Vegas. The game is supposed to start tomorrow, April 2, 2012, at 8:23 p.m. CDT in New Orleans, LA (27 Libra Asc, chart below).
Libra is rising so Kentucky gets Venus and the Sun; Kansas gets Mars and Saturn. The Moon is the flow of action in the game.
Here we are, a mere two hours away from kickoff of this year's Super Bowl game between the favored New England Patriots and the New York Giants.
Being that I and everyone around me are Packer fans, there was no opportunity for a sports horary question regarding this game. That leaves us one choice: a chart for the event.
Tipoff in tonight's NCAA men's basketball final is set for 8:23 p.m. CDT in Houston, TX. UConn is favored by four points to beat Butler. The chart appears below (24 Libra Asc).
As the favored team UConn gets Venus, ruler of Libra on the Ascendant. Butler gets Mars, ruler of Aries on the Descendant. The Moon is Lord 10 (as UConn’s victory), but we need the Moon to represent the flow of action in the game, so we'll have to do without it as Lord 10. Saturn is Lord 4 (Butler's victory).
Kickoff was about 40 minutes ago. The Packers are favored over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The chart appears below, set for Feb 6, 2011, 5:35 p.m. CST in Dallas, TX (12 Leo Asc).
The Packers are signified by the Sun, ruler of Leo on the first house cusp; their prize is Venus, ruler of Taurus on the MC. The Steelers are signified by Saturn, ruler of Aquarius on the seventh house cusp; their prize is Mars, ruler of Scorpio on the IC.
I've been a Badgers fan for a very long time. Soon the football Badgers face off against Texas Christian University (TCU) in the 2011 Rose Bowl. I thought I'd test my sports horary skills and ask the question, "Will the Badgers win the Rose Bowl?" Jan 1, 2011, 3:42 p.m. CST in Milwaukee, WI (2 Cancer Asc; chart at bottom).
Tip-off time for the NCAA men's basketball championship game in Indianapolis is 9:21 p.m. EDT tonight (8:21 p.m. here in Milwaukee). I have cast the chart and will post it once the game actually starts. The rising sign is 00.33 Scorpio, so we know for sure that Duke, who is strongly favored, will be signified by Mars while Butler, the underdogs, will be signified by Venus. Lord 10 (Duke’s prize) is the Sun, ruler of Leo on the tenth house cusp. Lord 4 (Butler’s prize) is Saturn, ruler of Aquarius on the fourth house cusp.
Hubby, a true and longtime fan of the Indianapolis Colts, asks, “Will my team, the Colts, win the Super Bowl?” January 25, 2010, 10:11 am CST, Milwaukee, WI; 17 Aries Asc (chart at bottom).
In sports horaries we look for testimonies that tell us which house and planetary ruler--first or seventh--is stronger. The stronger one will win the game.
